Alternative Power Sources

     The use of fossil fuels is being depleted everyday and they are non renewable. Through the use of alternative power sources this will bring great benefits of having renewable energy.  There are several forms of an alternate source of power. These sources of power can be of great help to our environment and to the economy of the country as well.

One source of power that can be of use is the Biogas. Biogas is produced from organic domestic or industrial waste, stagnant wastewater sludge, landfills, and animal manure. A major ingredient of biogas is methane that burns with a clean flame and is less polluting. Biogas is a renewable source of energy that can light up farmhouses.

Another form of alternate power source is the solar power. Solar Power is literally energy from the radiation of the sun that is converted into electricity or heat. This power comes from the sun is collected by using solar panels. A solar panel is one large flat panel that is made up of smaller individual solar cells. 

Alternative power sources technologies range from solar power, wind power, hydroelectricity/micro hydro, biomass and bio-fuels for transportation. With the use of alternative power you can now supply your own home with the power necessary for your needs without the worry of power outages. Alternative power helps to reduce pollution and to conserve fossil fuels. This can really be a life-changing event and this will make a clean and safe place to live in.
